The Beatles biography
The Beatles are one of the most popular bands in history. Despite their relatively short-lived career, the Beatles have sold more albums in the US than any other band, and have sold over a billion albums internationally. The Beatles' fanbase remains strong to this day. The recent film "Across the Universe" was the first musical based entirely on Beatles songs.
The Beatles recorded 28 albums, had 50 top 40 singles and sold over a billion records. "I Want To Hold Your Hand" sold 250,000 copies in 3 days. "Yesterday" is the most covered song of all time. They parted ways in 1969.
